Whether you live on Capitol Hill or may have visited the US Capitol and Supreme Court buildings, theres plenty to discover about the history and architecture of this neighbourhood, where people have lived, worked, and played for many years.

Learn about why these buildings look the way they do and about the people who shaped the neighborhood. This walking tour for kids takes a hands-on approach to learning about architecture- defining new terms, and identifying the architectural features of libraries, churches, the Marine Barracks, and historic row houses and buildings that have been adapted for new uses.

For kids 8 - 12 years.

COST: $10 for District Architecture Centre Members / $25 non-Members (bookings required)
